STC-Chicago and CARA present Speed Résumé-ting
Date: Saturday February 16, 2013
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. CT
Description: You’ll sit across from someone and exchange résumés. You’ll review their résumé for one minute, and then have two minutes to write comments (both positive and constructive). When the bell rings, you’ll switch seats and repeat the process on a new résumé, until you make your way around the room. Why just three minutes? Unfortunately, in a competitive job market, that may be all the time you get (or less) to give a recruiter or HR person a first impression of your skills and qualifications. Lisa Vitale, a recruiting manager from CARA, will be available for Q&A after the speed reviews, so come prepared with questions for a professional.
